Sweet Butter Kitchen, Café, and Market is a fantastic family-owned place in Sherman Oaks, California, and it’s one of the San Fernando Valley’s favorite neighborhood breakfast, brunch, and lunch dining spots. I checked it out for myself recently, and I understand why this place is loved by so many people. The multi-layer cakes, cookies, breads, and pastries alone are enough to get anyone hooked! But the daily menu, with its specialty items, is filled with fresh and delicious meals and flavors that make people want to keep coming back for more.
I had their fried chicken and waffles with an iced mocha, and my Mom ordered the bacon, egg, and waffles.
Very tasty and filling! The atmosphere is friendly, open, and relaxing with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating arrangements; and it’s dog friendly - offering dog biscuits to their canine guests.
But it also feels like someone took extra time to make guests feel like they’re being treated to something special – things like the cool wrought iron gate; lots of green plants; the market displays of artisan culinary items, and unique gifts; and fresh, homemade food-to-go items invite people to come back to Sweet Butter Kitchen, Café, and Market again and again, and bring a few friends.
