I enjoy A LOT of different foods, but when I’ve had a busy day and I’m craving something hearty and tasty, an awesome burger always hits the spot and makes me feel ALIVE! I was in Downton L.A. the other day when the craving hit me big-time, and fortunately, 464 DTLA was there to feed the beast!
464 DTLA is a cool, new gourmet burger restaurant that opened just a few months ago. Fun Fact: Their furniture was made with recycled pieces from the original framework of the building.
464 DTLA has a menu full of delicious, original burgers, and fun and unusual ingredients for you to create your own burgers. The menu and ingredients are inspired by flavors and recipes from around the world. Feel like having something besides the usual ketchup, mustard, lettuce, and onion?
How about pickled egg, golden beets, cucumber raita, truffle oil, grape leaf pesto, or mulberry molasses? Instead of Cheddar cheese, why not try Roquefort, Havarti, or Fontina? The list of choices is pretty much endless and it changes, so you can create a new burger every time you eat there. (FYI: The list does include the traditional burger condiment favorites for those not feeling too adventurous.) You can go vegan, beef, chicken, lamb, pork, venison, or even go Australian with kangaroo! And none of their meats are frozen – they don’t even own a freezer! So what you’re getting is FRESH daily.
They also make all of their own sauces from scratch, including the ketchup. And they have a great list of tempting sides, as well as favorite beverages to go along with your burger creations.
Are you heading to Downtown L.A., and happen to be craving a burger? Then head over to 464 DTLA and give it a try!
