Fifteen is a restaurant where you feel happy! You’re happy because the food is great, the atmosphere is comfortable and friendly, and the people who work there really seem to enjoy their jobs and make you feel welcomed.
We got to meet the staff and tour the kitchen.
Another reason you feel happy is because you know that when you eat at Fifteen, you are supporting The Jamie Oliver Foundation’s program to help teens and young adults who’ve had a hard life, learn jobs in the culinary industry, and make a better life for themselves in the future.
Fifteen is a non-profit organization, which means that the money they earn goes toward the charity program.
And some of the people who work in the restaurant are actual apprentices who are learning to be chefs and are graduating from the program.
Fifteen has an excellent and delicious menu, and all of the ingredients are fresh.
Mom and I had dinner there, and some of the dishes we ate were Cauliflower Cheese, Crispy Duck Fat Potatoes, Red Cabbage Slaw, Potted Short Ribs, Roasted Bone Marrow, Wild Nettle & Spinach Soup, Rotisserie Chicken, Yorkshire Pudding & Gravy, and of course the Homemade Sourdough Bread & Butter.
I also got to try their coffee. Mom doesn’t normally let me drink coffee, but she said I could this one time. It was delicious!
This was another tasty foodie experience in London!
